Internet Recruiting

Internet recruiting is the processes of locating people who are seeking jobs and those   who are contended with their jobs using the internet. Internet recruiting has become   common in many countries as many companies have opted to use the internet to recruit   new employees. The internet recruitment field has experienced high growth for the last two decades (Harvey , Blakely, CCH Canadian Limited, &. Lee, 2002). Traditionally, companies have used job boards and business networking to locate people who are seeking jobs. With advances in technology, most people have started using the internet to locate job seekers. The main of internet recruiting is to find people who a recruiter can present to a hiring manager so as to be employed. There has been limited research on internet recruiting.

This has made it difficulty for people to identify the advantages and disadvantages of internet recruiting. One can carry out research to determine the effect of internet recruiting on the organizations productivity   and employee productivity. In most cases, internet recruiting does not produce the best employees. This makes it difficulty for the company to be productive. There are various steps one needs to follow when carrying out research on internet recruiting. First, one   has to select the participants to be used. The participants should be employees who have undergone internet recruitment and those recruited using the normal methods. The next step is collecting data. One can use questionnaires or interview to collect data from the participants. One should use a set of questions that are related to the topic to collect data. After collecting data, one should analyze it and give the result. Then discuss the results (Ling, 2000).
