In respect to what Muslim belief is that although there are so many gods, there is only one supreme God who is above all other gods of which no one is allowed to pray any other god other than the Allah. What Muslims believe is that Muhammad was the last prophet who was sent by God to pass good message to the people but before him there were other prophets such as Adam and Abraham just to mention but a few. In order to have peace and have a happy life full of joy, Muslim beliefs is that Allah should be obeyed and do exactly what He wants. Five pillars of Islam reflect different beliefs of Islam and what they mean to them, (Oracle Thinkquest, 2011).

According to the first pillar, Muslims believe that God is power and all people should unity so as to proclaim the goodness of Him. It similar has the beliefs of the God’s messenger who is Muhammad. The most important belief according to the five pillars which is portrayed by the first on is that Allah is the only God who should be worshiped and on the other hand, Muhammad is the messenger of God whose teachings should as well be followed. According to the second pillar, Muslims beliefs are that prayers should be done five times in minimum. Prayers are supposed to be done in a round manner of which it provides them with opportunity to know more about God and stick to God’s teachings which were brought by Muhammad, (Oracle Thinkquest, 2011).

Zakat is the third pillar of Muslims which its belief is to provide them with an opportunity to share their purity. Muslims in some instances believes that without purity sharing, no one is able to pass what Allah want hence Zakat gives them that opportunity. The fourth pillar has a big significant in the life of a Muslim simply because, in any give time, there is a period of fasting. Fasting pillar enables Muslims to have a period whereby they abstain from so many things starting from food, sex and so many things. Through abstaining, they believe that they have direct connection to heavens for there is nothing that distracts them on the way. Pilgrimage to Mecca is the five pillars which provide Muslims with an opportunity to have the closeness to God. Muslims do conduct a pilgrimage walk which is believed to bring them near their Creator who is Allah, (Oracle Thinkquest, 2011).

Having gone through all the five Muslim pillars let me say that the hardest of all which I think managing it is a problem is that of fasting. Given a normal situation where you are required to accomplish your daily task, with an instant fasting activity, this would be very hard. If it’s to fast, then one is required to rest. Working should also be put aside in the period where one is fasting, (Oracle Thinkquest, 2011).
