It is a bi-monthly journal and it guides managers as well as executives on healthcare management issues with its timely articles on the management of healthcare. This journal is highly relevant to healthcare managers as each issue has an interview with a leading healthcare executive and this helps healthcare managers to know what works and what does not work from the horses mouth with regard to the management of healthcare services.

The most relevant journal
The most relevant journal with regards to healthcare management is the journal of healthcare management. First, this bi-monthly official journal of the American College of Healthcare Executives is highly interactive as it offers the reader the chance to submit manuscripts which act to enhance communication as well as spark discussion of pertinent issues among executives as well as those charged with the role of policy making (Harding 2010).Secondly, it encourages readers to submit articles containing information that is practical and that can enhance the understanding of various issues in the management of healthcare services. These articles from a wide variety of sources with diverse experience in the field of healthcare management have been cited to have operational utility for all practicing managers (Borkowski 2010). With that in mind, it is up to the healthcare manager to choose the most relevant journal that not only addresses current issues in healthcare management but also integrates issues to do with healthcare management theory and practice.
