Rationale Statement

For the first standard, it would be required to come up with a method of teaching that is informed by an extensive analysis of data so as to ensure that the instruction end up benefiting students as well as satisfying the various standards and plans in place. The third standard will be informed by an evaluation of the instruction methods. That is, the instruction methods should be evaluated for purposes of instituting corrective action incase of a deviation from what has been planned. In this regard, the various instructional strategies should be in line with the developmental levels of students. The ability of the student to meet academic standards seems to rest on the efforts the teacher dedicates towards the implementation as well as management of the specific abilities of the students. Hence it is good to note that the management of these abilities is as important as the implementation.

For standard four, the main thing would be to concentrate on assessments that bring out the progress with regard to the strategies being applied or used. The performance results can then be used as a benchmark for evaluating the progress of students as well as in designing the appropriate mechanism for future improvement. The future adjustments can then be utilized for purposes of guiding the decisions as regards instruction. It should be noted that the teacher should communicate the results of the assessment to students so as to satisfy the various standards as well as requirements and ensure that students are aware of their progress throughout the instructional period. It goes without saying that the alignment of the curriculum to the student assessments is prudent.
