Streaming architecture: QuickTime

Using a search engine of choice, the streaming architecture I chose to research on is QuickTime. This multimedia software is developed for purposes of coming up with sound, video, graphics, text music etc. These however must be crated as well as published with server considered to be true streaming web server-HTTP for such actions which may include downloads. Digital media playing as well as display is made possible in quick time through the use of QuickTime player, which is basically an application. For purposes of additional editing and/or well defined capabilities when it comes to presentation, one can choose to go for the professional version but one can alternatively settle for the basic version.

QuickTime is in most cases utilized by content creators, manufacturers of hardware, developers of software etc and the best audience to be addressed with this architecture would be a large audience as it is very possible to multicast or unicast.

With regards to benefits, QuickTime has quite a number. First, its design is such that it can be utilized for media delivery almost anywhere. Also it goes without saying that its support of Windows as well as Mac is commendable. Second, QuickTime has interactive capabilities that can just be described as revolutionary. It is possible to come up with as well as select a movie’s multiple versions through movie alternates and hence there is a guarantee that every user will have an experience which can only be defined as optimum. Lastly, it goes without saying that QuickTime is given support by a wide range of technologies as well as tools which are considered to be third party. QuickTime is also appropriate for production and editing as opposed to just delivery.
