 Employee theft in an organization is the situation where employees involved in illegal activities where they take or use company’s properties for their own benefits. Company properties may include intellectual property, finance, or office properties. Teenage pregnancy on the other hand is the situation where young women conceive pregnancy and it is estimated that they will give birth before they attain the age of majority, (Graham, 1997).


Although employee theft and teen pregnancy are two different things, when viewed in a different perception they have similarities. When there is casement of opportunity from the overseeing parties (management, teachers, and parents) evidence shows that teen pregnancy or employee them may happen. Teens develop bad behaviors when they are left to control their life. Research shows that, when parents or teachers are not observant enough with behaviors of their children, teens feel free something that leads them to pregnancy activities.


Similarly, employee theft occurs when organization management loosens its check up activities making employees have freedom that may change their behaviors. In order to prevent occurrence of the above scenarios, the overseeing authority should have a tight look on the behaviors, (Pedneault, 2010).


Evidence suggests that, when employees do not communicate with their employers or organization management, chances of theft may increase. The reasoning behind this notion is that when employees do not raise their problems, no one is there to know their problems and a result of solving them, they enter into malpractices. When employees have financial problems, they engage in theft activities in order satisfy their financial needs. The best solution towards employee theft is by workers communicating with the management and raising their problems.


Teens commonly undergoes emotional and peer pressure problems. Teens that have no help access from teachers and parents tend to engage in peer pressure activities that generate pregnancy activities. Parental attention helps teen know how they are supposed to behave and what they are expected by their parents. The best approach to stop employee theft as well as teen pregnancy is by highlighting possible consequences that will develop as a result situation occurrence, (Graham, 1997).


Employee theft and teen pregnancy are things of past that have been dealt with in different ways. The issue of employee theft in organization has undergone different strategies where law and order has been engaged to develop possible solution on law offenders. Civil suits have enabled employees get the right punishment on theft activities conducted by the employee. In order to deter and prevent occurrence of employee theft activities, most organizations had developed set standards on the level of punishment that an employee may face.


For teen pregnancy activities, teenagers in the past have faced a lot of endure where they were forced to go for abortion. Getting pregnant at the age of teen was considered something disgraceful and teens were abused. Physical and verbal abused had been the major punishment that was used to punish teenagers who got pregnant, (Pedneault, 2010).


In the current times, justice system and management have worked closely to deal with employee theft cases. Preventive measures on employee theft have been a concern in most organizations. For teen pregnancy, parents and teachers who are close to teens have dealt with the issue accordingly. Lack of proper communication on involved parties and authorities have been a major problem that requires attention in order to prevent a lot of freedom that creates employee theft and teen pregnancy, (Graham, 1997).
