A Note To The Future Roommate

Dear Roommate,

I am glad that we were finally chosen to join this prestigious university together. Our great journey is going to start, whereby we are not going to be treated as kids anymore. Our relationship will start soon, and it will go on to the end of our academic years in the university or even beyond, depending on our personalities.

Roommate, I am a very interesting boy, jovial and humorous. I like comedy and I hope you will not mind if our room in college turns out to be comedy theatre, with all those huge numbers of audience coming to be entertained, big video cameras, wide movie screens, and even loud music. Indeed it will be an enjoyable moment for both of us. I hate a life of boredom, and so I get myself busy now and then, as they say, that, an idle mind is the devil’s workshop!

Comedy interest aside, I would like to inform you that, when it comes to studies I am very much serious, and my friend back in high school used to refer me as a book worm. I really study hard to attain good grades, since that is the ultimate goal of studying. So friend, prepare to come and have sleepless nights of studying, and free times of fun.

Let me now tell you something about my physical appearance, since you may come and meet a scare crow in your college room. I have a very big body and the American height, and I think that other students in college will be mistaking me for their tutors and lectures. This should make you happy since I will not fit into your clothes, and; therefore, I will spare them.

I don’t want to tell you where I come from since you will get to know during our freshman days, but what I can say is, I love where I live, and I also love my life. You are lucky that I don’t like ladies I mean girlfriends, and I won’t give you a rough time bringing them into our college room, as the traditions of most of the college boys. So, I hope we will enjoy our time together as roommates. I can’t wait to start this new chapter of my life.
