Alternative Geographies:What if the Soviet Union won the Cold war?
If the USSR won the cold war, the US would be a failed state. This would be caused by the notion that the black people are simple and this would make most of the south to look for another group for blaming. Probably they would blame communists and activists of civil rights for the disturbances and this would lead to a crackdown on an organization with associations of communist. These problems would lead to economic problems that are massive and reluctance to send units of military overseas where there are problems that are serious at home. If the USSR won the cold war, there would be no Euro- Russia war.
The Russians would leave alone the Europeans if they recognized paromancy of the Russian in the part of the world. If the Soviet won the cold war, it would have taken a step of strengthening its position in the region just like the way United States has been doing. Many of the people in the armed forces of the USSR thought of invading Iran to finish the fundamentalists who incited rebellion in the republics of Moslem. Also, if the Soviet won the cold war, it would have a very strong position of economy. It wouldn’t have built many weapons that are advanced to counter the build up of Regan and to study the systems that could be employed by the Americans. (Jelsoft enterprises)
If the USSR won the cold war, there would be less terrorism than in the U.S dominated world. The groups of terrorism which tried to intimidate the USSR agents. Before the cold war end were slapped badly by the KCG and the incidents were few. A middle east which would be dominated by the Soviet would probably spawn a lot of terrorists such as OTL. Also, if the cold war was won by the USSR, the terrorism that is Saudi sponsored would not be there. There would be a reaction by the Americans from the collapse and communism would emerge because may be people would want it because of the failure off capitalism. The United of States and the rest of the west would internally fail and a major sympathy of pro-communist in the west would be there in order to make the opposition weak to the Soviet Union. If the government of the United States corrupted, there would be crises on the economy in the Europe, Latin and Northern America and many other countries that received aid from the U.S or strongly depended on the dollar. The European countries would collapse and this would enable the USSR to be in a position that is favorable. It would never need to rely on the military because there would be no opponents to fight it out. It would put more money into economic activities which would be of great benefit to people and through this, there would be a rebirth of communist which emphasis on standard of living and economy. The communist bloc would not be affected so much on economic issues.
Ironically, the Soviet Union would suffer a big loss since its prosperity of the economy depends on the buying of gas and oil by the countries in the West. The U.S collapse would mean decrease in demand. The collapse of the United States would be a very great disaster to the Soviet Union because their economies were integrated through loans and trade. The world would be a gigantic China with censorship and no freedom if the Soviet Union won the cold war. The capital of USSR would be Moscow and therefore the hunger would come to an end and also the wars that are ethnic in Africa would come to an end and also the impoverishment of Western Europe and the United States would also come to an end. The population of America declined so much due to small pox and other diseases which include: yellow fever, mumps, cholera and malaria. . This led to a massive decline in the population of Americans who are natives. If there the people of America hadn’t been wiped out by these diseases, the population would be so high which would have led to poverty due to scarce resources. Also another effect would be that there would enough force of labor to carry out operations in industries which would lead to high economic growth in America. The large population would provide demand for goods and services and this would lead to profits to the organizations producing these goods and services.
If the Chinese had colonized Europeans, many Chinese would have migrated to Europe and this would cause death of much native population for the various diseases that they carried. Many Chinese would have migrated to overseas and establish posts of trading or cities but this wouldn’t have been considered as part of the empire of Chinese. From the Chinese history events, the fate of the Europeans would have been more. In the 15thcentury, China was involved in projects of public works and with labor shortage; most Europeans would have been slave labor source. (Tsar).
