The resort has three hotels that offer catering services to and other services to clients. In order to maintain a high level of attraction and effective operation, the management system has to develop and implement some of the performance functions. Below is an analysis of major function of performance and management system of the Island resorts.


Functions

Time Management: One of vital function of performance and management system of the Island resorts is time management. Without time management, the resorts may not achieve and realize its goals and objectives. The management system must delegate effectively in order to ensure each and every task such as serving customers moves in the right direction. Performance and management system should have the best appointing skills before delegating duties. This will help the management system select employees who suit specific tasks and direct them on how they should accomplish the task. They should also develop an evaluation program in order to establish effective working schedules for employees and have an environment that attracts customers, (Krausert, 2011).


Employee growth: In Baderman Island Resorts employee growth may sound something useless or of less importance in organization development. Employees play a vital role in organization simply because they provide the right services to clients. To attract more customers, the resorts must develop an employee growth program. This is important for performance and management system simply because it helps motivate employees and prepare them to be effective people when handling organization activities and duties. The work of the management team is to evaluate resort employee’s personal goals. This will help the management evaluate weakness of employee hence assist them improve their skills. Employee growth program will prepare employees have experience and skills to serve customers, (Krausert, 2011).

Improving productivity: The work of performance and management system for the company will aim at developing members achieve the company’s goals. This is done by measuring input and the output hence estimating what is required to increase performance. The management should motivate employees and give them directions on how to accomplish duties and tasks of the resorts, (Krausert, 2011).

Marketing Analysts: For marketing analysts, the best evaluation methods include job raking and factor comparison method. The advantage of using job raking in this case is because it gives accurate results, it is easier to use, and simple compared to other methods. The main disadvantage of using this method is that it lacks credit to those who deserves simply because it emphasizes on job ranks. Comparison method is the best simply because it compares more than one employee thus giving credit to the best candidate. Providing credit to an employee is the sole reason why most people prefer using comparison method in such a situation, (Krausert, 2011).

Concierge supervisor: Point method and Job classification are the best evaluation methods for such a position. With a supervisor, it is vital to use job classification evaluation method simply because it evaluates individuals based on their job classes. Point method is best for Concierge supervisor simply because it helps determine job performance since it uses job scale strategies when evaluating employees, (Krausert, 2011).
