The business idea for this assignment encompasses the establishment of an enterprise that sells computers and computer accessories. This business shall involve two partners in order to help in generating capital. In starting this enterprise, there are various critical legal considerations. The most appropriate legal form is the deed of partnership (Steingold, 2011). This form is vital in specifying the role of each partner in the business. It also serves as a useful reference point in the event of future conflicts.Business license serves as another pertinent legal form. The license shows that the business has permission for operations from the relevant authorities. The third legal form is the document for tax clearance. This shows that the enterprise complies with the relevant revenue authorities. Failure to secure a tax clearance certificate can form the basis of severe tax sanctions for the new enterprise (Pinson, 2006).Functional structure will be the main organizational framework for the new enterprise. This structure is essential in enhancing specialization within the enterprise.
The different employees will have responsibilities that conform to their skills and knowledge. This is a useful approach towards avoiding redundancy within the workforce (Hall, 2005). The functional structure will also be beneficial in terms of enhancing productivity. This is because the employees will focus on their strong points. For instance, the marketing department will comprise of professional marketers who have the ability to develop the most effective marketing plans. On the other hand, computer technicians will focus on assembling and handling computer electronics. The functional structure also represents an excellent platform for enhancing teamwork within the enterprise. Teamwork is vital in addressing the various challenges that might face the business (Hall, 2005). These perspectives indicate that the functional structure will be helpful in the attainment of organizational objectives.
