The process and goals in writing journal article critiques

These includes information such as the as the name of the author, the date, title and problem statement which is being described in the article. After taking note of the identity of the article to be criticized, the reader goes through the whole article identifying various aspects of the article such as the relationship between the problem statement and the research design. They should also be willing to read the articles which will be criticized more than twice such that they are able to identify the areas which will be criticized. This calls for a lot of patience as well as possession of knowledge on various research methods which researchers use in addition to a clear understanding of the qualities of a journal article (Ramos, 2007).
