Don’t Blame the Eater: Diabetes

Due to the number of children who were affected by diabetes according to National Health institute, I greatly second the fact that more of the children who were affected by diabetes were in one way or the other had problems with genetic disorder. In respect to the statistics that National Institute of Health has it is true that more than 30% of cases of diabetes are caused by obesity issues and commonly they are related to children who are below the age of majority. I agree with Zinczenko that what we eat greatly contributes to the type of health our body develops.

I second the fact that the type of health we develop is actually not due to our problem but the main cause is the circumstances that we go   through our life. In America there are some instances which have led families in developing certain health issues due to the type of food they prepare due to their environment, (Zinczenko, 2006).

In most places according to the author does not provide a healthy environment simply because the type of diets they have are not fresh. This greatly contributes to the increase rate of kids getting diabetes. Another thing that I agree with is that parents don’t play their roles simply because they don’t educate their children on health issues thus children lack knowledge of controlling themselves from diabetes issues.

Diabetes has been greatly been contributed by the fact that families when traveling take foodstuffs which are not fresh and also fast food stores which contributes to causes of diabetes. The central measure of an individual’s health in respect to the author is Body Mass Index (BMI) tool and I also agree with that simply because this is what has been used by individuals in NHI, (Zinczenko, 2006).
