Influence Of Media
Several areas have changed overtime. That is security checks and use of force. The media has always portrayed areas that have changed overtime and made them public (LATTANZIO, 2010). The use of security checks has changed and most police officers employ security checks. The police officers question the person involved in the crime. Security checks are used to get more information from the victim of a crime. The police officers are required to time and investigate the person. Police use security checks in the society to enhance security. For example, in the article, the police officer acted on the Philippines fan so as to enforce security checks. They used a taser gun to shoot him. The 17 year old interrupted play when he jumped over the fence and ran in the field.
Though the teenager committed a crime, the police did not take time to investigate, but they used force. The police started investigating the incident after they had used the taser gun. Bonnie Clark who was the spokesperson said that they were investigating whether the use of a taser gun was the best method the police could have done. They claimed that it was the first time the police used a taser gun (LATTANZIO, 2010).Also, the use of force has changed overtime. In olden days police officers did not use forced to handle criminal activities, but currently the police use force. In the article, police used force because they used taser gun to shoot the teen. The two changes have impact on the ten, his family and other people. To the fans, the police did good to use force and taser gun to shoot the fan. The crowd was very happy. To the teen’s family the use of force is not good (LATTANZIO, 2010).
