The dream of any company is to retain customers and get new for the growth of the company. Making a new customer is difficult as compared to retaining the existing customer. In this case, the company sales on VCR player have declined. This decline in Sales of VCR has developed great impacts in the growth of the company. The reason for the decline in sales is due to the current technology. Introduction of new technology such as CD and DVD players in the market has affected the sale of VCR to the customers. Another reason is the use of personal computers because individuals prefer their own taste which differs in many angles, (Ferrell & Hartline, 2010).

Sale of typewriters in the company has also declined in the past few years. Individuals no longer use typewriters simply because computer technology has made it easy for individuals to accomplish their tasks in a simple way compared to few years. Typewriters take a lot of time before accomplishing activities as compared to computers thus most people prefer use of computers. Another thing is that the computer is used everywhere meaning that people have become familiar with computers as compared to the use of type writers, (Ferrell & Hartline, 2010).

Most people used to send letters from one place to another. Sale of stamps and envelops have decreased, and evidence shows that in the next few years, no single person will either come and ask for a stamp or envelop. Technology has changed the environment simply because individuals send emails through computers. Communication has become easy and cost effective. Instead of waiting for a message to be delivered in few days, technology helps individuals send and receive information instant, (Ferrell & Hartline, 2010).
