The Origin of the Current Israel and Palestine Conflict and the Role of Terrorism in the Conflict
The recipe of the current bloodshed between Israel and Palestine can be attributed to the lack of complete justice of allowing the return of Palestinians to Israel, upon their wish. Israel has failed to abide by the world opinion agreement of withdrawing its 1967 borders, despite the many pushes from UN. This injustice, based competing claims, is monstrous in nature and has led to the widening conflict, between Israel and Palestine. The Israelites, based on the Zionist position, appeared in Palestine during the late 19th century. Their intention was to reclaim their ancestral homeland. The Jews people then bought land, and began building a Jewish community on the said land. As this was happening, the Palestinians showed increasing opposition.
The Israelites then sought to defense in the process. This has led to the continuous conflict between the two communities. However, a broader and keen analysis shows that, the Zionist movement, initially aimed at a practically pure dispossession of the Arab population that was deemed indigenous. This was because they wanted Israel to be a totally Jewish nation. Land buying under the Jewish National Fund could never be sold back or even leased back to the Arabs. Similarly, land that was also kept under the name of the Jewish people was treated the same. It could never be sold back. This is the present state of the land issues between the two communities.
The Arab community, therefore, increasingly became aware of the intentions of the Zionists’ and opposed more immigration of the Jewish, and land buying by the Israelites. This conflict has aggravated the current terrorism situation, especially, in the Middle East. Warring communities have become hide outs for terrorists, and thus a quick address to the grievances of Palestine will vastly reduce the strength of terrorism.
