Customers get relevant information such as provision of health plans, benefits provided by the plans, costs associated with plans, and performance. On the same not, the system will act as an advisor to customers who encounter problems with their plans. Customers who want assistance in any health plan issue will get relevant assistance from the experts, (Edlin & Stiglitz, 2012).


Another important function of the insurance exchanges is the creation of administrative mechanism for enrolling customers. Some individuals get private insurance coverage through their employers. The insurance exchange system focuses on assisting customers who have no potential to get such assistance on their insurance plans. It focuses on people who work in small organizations as well as those who want to buy policies individually. The entire insurance market calls for reformation in order to serve customers in the right condition. The work of exchange system is to develop rules on how insurance market sells coverage, but it will also focus on slight market reformation process. Customers who buy their insurance coverage from firms that do not belong to the market may get high charges. It is the work of the system to ensure that customers get similar services in all areas where insurance plans are offered, (Edlin & Stiglitz, 2012).
