The major engineering disciplines involved in Sup mobile are the communication engineering, software engineering, and the computer engineering. The software engineering department is involved in the development of the platform in which the Sup Mobile will operate on and this is the XHTML Mobile Profile which is a subset of XHTML that target the limited capabilities of mobile device (Sybase Inc. 2011).

Today, this is considered as the default language for Mobile Web Development. It provides the Sup Mobile with the advantage of suitability for all browsers in all kinds of mobile devices from feature phones to smart phones as well as advance mobile devices. The communication engineers are involved with the provision of communication cells where one can shout within a specified cell and other Sup Mobile uses can easily and fast engage in that conversation.
