Threat to the United States from Jihadist Islamic Terrorist
Threat to the United States from Jihadist Islamic Terrorist
The jihadist terrorist motto is “death to America” (Gonen, 2012). Little children are taught to be hateful against the Americans. They are programmed to be violent and to hateful against American at a very young age. The jihadist messages to the children are conveyed through different channels including videos, the internet, religious teachings and many other avenues (David Horowitz, 2012). The children grow up without remorse and ready to spill the blood of America even at the cost of their own lives. Programming children to take up these acts of violence means that the threat to Americans is far from over. Many Americans think that death of Osama bin Laden means that the threat of terrorism is going to subside. However, the texts indicate that the seed of hatred has already been sowed in the young generations. The number of Jihadist raging war against the United States has increased significantly.
The goal of Jihadist is to establish dominion of the Islamic religion in the world. Their target is to kill and cause harm to those who do not profess the Islamic faith (All About Region, 2012). They consider everyone who is not a believer as infidels, who deserve to die. The United States has population that is predominantly Christian. There are also other religious groups within the United States including Hinduism and Buddhism (Pulsipher, 2005). The country has accorded its citizens the right to select the religion that they want to practice. Thus, the United States forms a natural target for the Islamic jihadist. The Jihadist motto, “death to America”, indicates the degree of hatred toward the country. They feel that the country is full of infidels, and thus should be destroyed. This can only mean that American should prepare for enhanced terrorism activities from the Islamic jihadist in the future.
