Gunelius marketing trend for 2012 is that marketers will basically be basing the increment of content marketing (Gunelius 2012). This is through the internet to add valuable to the business marketing strategy. This strategy uses online content, which 60% of marketers use as an effective tool of, marketing especially the use of blog posts to virtual events, webinars and B2B marketers. Other content types that are of value in marketing include data-based videos, reports and white papers sponsored by vendors.  Despite the value of information   provided for online publishing, still people are often wary of information published by unauthorized or unrecognized sources. All in all the feedback and interaction provided from the online medium will still remain incredible.Companies using content marketing do experience a high level of web traffic compared that those who do not use this tool of marketing (Lieb 2011).  This is an indication that content marketing will grow in the future.


This increase in content marketing will further mean the development of new methods for publishing and creating the content. The rise of social media to the marketers acts as an indication of the viability in the platform for content marketing. The coming years will see a change of differentiating strategies in the use of content marketing based on  personalization, relevance, engaging, and creative work in the most possible manner. Those companies and organizations with the appealing and the best stories will win and not those with   the most content (Crane 2009). The current times call for companies to run seamlessly in making their operations highly efficient and lean.  Every marketer should be well skilled with strategic planning on issues concerning marketing and advertising in business. Having a well set plan will allow the managers and owners to master issues related to adverting and marketing. They will select the most suitable channel and tool, for marketing such as the internet. The right channels and tools of   advertising and marketing will help to increase sales (McKeever, 2012).
