Wind Energy
Wind can be described as a form of energy which generally occurs as a result of heating of the atmosphere which occurs unevenly and is caused by the heat from the sun. This occurs due to the earth’s surface irregularities and the rotation of the earth. The bodies of water, vegetation cover in earth as well as the earth’s terrain are the ones that modify the wind flow patterns. The flow of wind together with the motion energy is harvested by use of wind turbines which are used for the purposes of generating electricity.
The terms wind power and wind energy can therefore be termed as the process through which mechanical power or electricity is generated by use of wind. This happens after mechanical power is created by use of wind turbines where there is conversion of the kinetic energy in wind. It is this mechanical power that is used for various tasks such as pumping water, a generator among many others. Ken Black (2010).
One of the parks in wind parks in Virginia is the West Wind Farm Vineyard which has natural beauty with Blue Ridge mountains with extraordinary spaces set. The park offers services to the citizens of Virginia where parties, weddings, meetings, corporate occasions and other outdoor events are held at the park. The Farm also offers ample space and can be able to accommodate dinners for ten to forty people as well as wedding guests up to a number of one hundred and fifty. The setting is such that guests are bale to steer away from other distractions that may be present in other public settings such as hotels and other conference facilities.
