President
Q1.
I think the framers of constitution made no mistakes by giving the vice presidents little responsibility. I think so because by giving the vice president more responsibility will mean more powers. This will definitely lead to creation of two centers of power. The best form of leadership is where there is one center of power especially in states where there is advancement in democracy.
Having two centers of power will lead to slow rate of decision making. This is because some decisions will have to be deliberated between the president and the vice president. When the two have diverging opinions it will cause misunderstanding looking for a common ground will be a hectic exercise. Giving president more powers may also lead to contradictions with the president especially if he does some things which do not go with the wish and the will of the president.
Presidents should however not misuse this privilege. They consult their vice presidents in key decisions so that they don’t feel to be of no importance in the governance.

There should be possession of positive attitude by the president to the vice president and also those who he leads. This will make him to consult easily and create openness between them. They should not despise one another or disrespect one another for this will affect those they lead negatively.
Q3.
Geographic balance plays an important role in politics. This is even evident in the constitution of the United States and many other constitutions. This balancing happens when a leader chooses from a geographical location different from his. This has led to more widespread appeal among the leaders.
If presidents were chose running mates from regions close to them they will end up losing popularity amongst groups from other regions. This is because they will feel neglected and sidelined. It makes them feel that even the resources will not trickle down to them due to inequitable distribution. To many people it works as lack of geographical balance is viewed to be lack of balance in the national cake.
Geographical balance is essential as well in case the president leaves office either by death or any other unfortunate means. This is because if the president is from the same area with the vice president the people will feel unease to elect him to hold office.
