Job Interview
Job Interview
Before attending a job interview, it is necessary to be prepared. However, not many people know what aspects to do in order to face the interviewing panel confidently. Preparing for an interview enables one to figure out what a potential employer will ask during the interview. One will also know the aspects that the panel is looking for in a candidate. One has to be ready for questions that the recruiters will ask. The recruiters usually ask stock questions, such as, “what weaknesses and strengths do you have” or “what makes you be the best applicant unlike the rest?”Another aspect is to be prepared for the questions that you will ask the recruiters. Some of these questions are queries that match with the activities of the industry or the company.
This will make the recruiters know that you are interested and that you know something about the organization. Such questions can begin with a phrase such as; “it is my understanding that….” These questions, however, should not sound like you are interviewing the recruiters (Amos, 2004, p 43). Other kinds of preparations involve reading more concerning the company, salary, and wages of the desired job and knowing the location where the interview is held early enough. Last, one should dress officially and simply and have all the documents that might be expected by the interviewing committee.
