African Culture
Introduction
The immeasurable continent of Africa is very wealthy and varied in its ethnicity with it not only altering from one nation to another but inside an entity nation of most dissimilar ethnicities which can be found. The African society doings center on the relative and the cultural group. The music, oral literature and the art serve to strengthen the existing spiritual and societal patterns. The westernized minority, which was influenced by the European ethnicity and Christianity, rejected the African customary ethnicity, but it rise the African patriotism, an educational renewal occurred.
The administrations of the majority African country’s, promote countrywide dance and melody group, museum and to a less important degree, artiste and writers. In African history dance, it has played a crucial role in the life of ethnic community. A dance was mainly used to zone off risk and to look for wealth, to explain and express emotions and feelings in celebrating ceremony such as marriage and birth. It has also considered being crucial since it has played a main role in ethnic spiritual ritual.
Dancing was a part of the household tasks and was considered as method to overtake time and take pleasure in and establish. The main dissimilarity among African jazz and other type of dance from the other religion in the world is that Africa jazz is polycentric. Meaning that, the performer carcass is not treated as lone innermost unit. As an alternative, it is separated into numerous centers, segmented area, of association with every region being capable to move to dissimilar rhythm in the music (Camara R.K, 2007).
West Africa ethnicity is the part of western Africa which include the 16 nations of Benin, Togo, Sierra Leone, Niger, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Senegal, cote, ivory, Ghana, Gambia, guinea, Liberia, guinea Bissau and Mali. The combination of the nations is known as the Bulge of Africa. The Africa community and ethnicity has different tribes each with their culture that vary from clan to clan. In western Africa culture there is a group known as the Ashanti community.
The community lives in Ghana the central part in West Africa; it is the largest clan in the Ghana. In every village the elders and the chief usually maintain the ceremonies and the customs to deal with the dispute. The group is a mix of supernatural and religion powers, where they believe that animals, plants and trees have soul. They are usually famous for their metal and gold crafts, woven dresses and woodcarving. In their dances they usually use drums for transferring message to the community in the city, for ceremonial like healing patents, naming occasion and wedding. In their community they share stories of people experience to communicate and express feelings, information, emotions and ideas (Stone R.M, 2005).
They also use popular types when narrating stories in their culture, like plays, magazines, movies and books. The western Africa people adore both good story teller and narrative itself. They are mainly a spoken community and are regularly created and performed with dance and music. In conclusion, African culture is good and very important because it teaches communities on how to live and practice their culture. They should follow and respect the cultures. The dance and music is crucial because it send message to the crowd, while the oral literature and the art serve to strengthen the existing spiritual and societal patterns.
