Association for Childhood Education International

The most interesting part of ACEI is the section under About ACEI.  This section provides a summary of information about the organization.  The vision, missions, targeted population, principles, head quarters, and board of governance are found in this section.

The statement of commitment and principles of ACEI are what I will integrate in my daily classroom practices.  This includes working in conditions that are desirable for   children’s practices and programs, cooperating with children, advocating for children development, and the provision of education to children should be of high quality.

The careers that are new to me are roles of the advisory council, grants developer, social entrepreneurs, and research analyst.

Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI) is an international community for advocates and educators who are united with similar perspectives, experience and knowledge with the aim of exploring innovation information exchange and advocating for the needs of children.  This organization acts as the broker of knowledge sharing, practices, and innovative ideas from various institutions and individuals. The main activity of ACEI members is to advocate for reforms in education and social change. This is beneficial in providing the children’s right of achieving full human potential. The targeted population for ACEI is all children around the world.

The mission’s statement of ACEI is to support and promote the global community in child’s development and education provision. The mission of ACEI is to provide equitable chances to education to every child in the global community.  This vision and goal suits my education philosophy whereby, every child is an asset to the state and each should receive education, to change the world, and for them to become responsible citizens.

The principles of ACEI are related to the UNICEF principles of advocating for child’s rights, social development, and equitable chances to education.
