Biodiversity

Biodiversity preservation has drawbacks.

Biodiversity preservation has various drawbacks for the survival of human beings on this planet.  Land is needed for settlement.  Animals give the hunters food and tusks from elephants can be sold for economic purpose.  Conservation of nature by its self is difficult because of the limitations in implementing of conservation programs at grass root level. This is because most of the natural responses in the Westerns States are owned by the federal government. So it is up to the government to utilize the land it has in conserving nature. Not all, countries should be held responsible in the conservation of nature because some areas have been deforested and are overpopulated than others.  Subsequently, this will affect wildlife habitat.  Such  areas should  have  effective conservation groups  which  will  see  into these  problems  like  hunting  for wildlife which  is  currently in the decline. Practices done in the past  like  cutting  down trees, hunting  and  burning  of  bushes  for settlement can still  be  practiced in  places where there are  large  bushes and  abundant  wildlife for settlement and food respectively (Bolaane, 2005, p 241-259).

Preservation of biodiversity is importance.

Preservation of biodiversity is as important issue because to is linked to poverty eradication.  This success is intergraded and should not be relied only on public lands.  There should be  programs  which  will address community based  approaches  to conservation and  the social  impact  of conservation  programs.  these  programs  will  enable  the society members  to be  aware that  biodiversity conservation  is  a personal  responsibility that  should  not be  relied  only on the government projects. This is because poverty elevation and biodiversity conservation presents as conceptual typology in their relation (Noss, & Oetting 2005, p 2679-2693). All, countries and regions of the world should be held responsible in the conservation of nature.  Nature gives  us  life  and we  should  not wait  until  we  see  challenges   caused  by  deforestation  and hunting  for wildlife  for us to start  conserving  biodiversity. Therefore   practices  done in the past such as  hunting  for wild life,  bush  burning  and cutting  down  trees  are not justifiable in the conservation of  nature.-
