Within an organization, the manager needs to stay in touch with all employees. It enables him, or her to identify the various challenges facing the company and also monitor the progress in terms of productivity. Through communication, individuals share ideas with one another. This is an essential aspect of organizational growth and productivity. Ineffective communications have the capacity to undermine the implementation of exceptional ideas. The article is also informative with regard to communicating with different types of people. Ideas can only develop if they are communicated to different people. In management, communication skills determine whether a manager is productive or not (Motluk, 2011).
Communication Skills Organizations
Strong communication skills are necessary in all types of organizations. Employees cannot understand their responsibilities if the organization fails to establish an effective communication framework. In essence, communication serves as the hallmark of employee performance. When an individual secures employment in a new organization, he or she is bound to encounter new tasks. However, understanding the organizational operations is not a problem if the organization has effective communication mechanisms.Apart from employee performance, communications help in marketing the good and services of a business organization. A marketing strategy would be ineffective in the event that it does not comprise of effective marketing communications (Fielding, 2005). A company must communicate effectively with the target audience in order to enhance sales. From another perspective, communication is also an essential component of public relations. This applies to nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Public relations form an essential component of an organization’s image. With an effective communication system, organizations attain the relevant platform for public relations.The other role of communications within an organization is conflict resolution. From time to time, all types of organizations face different types of conflicts. Such conflicts may involve employees or even the management. However, solving such problems is possible through effective communications (Miller, 2011).
Future Organization
In the future, I intend to secure employment in a business organization that has branches around the world. In such a working environment, I will have the necessary exposure to numerous aspects of organizational management. Such an entity will also provide me with the chance to take part in teamwork. Working in teams helps to develop one’s skills. Additionally, teamwork also facilitates for professional development.
Applying Strong Communication Skills
Strong communication skills are essential for any employee working in a leading business organization. At a personal level, strong communication skills will help me in understanding the working modalities of the organization. In a multinational company, there are different technical perspectives that guide employees. Understanding the technical perspectives will not be challenging for me because I have string communication skills. In this of environment, employees should have good relationships. Such relationships are the pinnacle of organizational productivity. These relationships are also vital in terms of promoting effective teamwork. Consequently, I will liaise with team members in order to promote organizational performance. In such an organization, employees must work closely with the management. This helps In identifying and addressing operational challenges. Through effective communication skills, I will work closely with company executives and supervisors. As an innovative person, communication skills will help me in sharing new ideas with other employees.
