An Infant or Toddler Learning Sensory Plan Process

Planning for a Toddler or Infant sensory learning requires delve understanding of their unique needs like positive, strong emotional connections with their teachers among other individuals.  In light of children’s neurobiological expectation for nurturance, the teaching plan will have a section of the teacher shaking each and every child’s hand (Shonkoff & Phillips, 2000). This will be in a bid to display some care in a loving way for all infants. Furthermore, since all Toddlers need compassion, affection, kind touch and gentle holding creating rapport with all the infants will be the first step.


In order to meet significant factors for Toddlers to learn I would consider adopting measures to ensure Infant’s self-regulation, motivation towards mastery their reliance on relationships and social commerce.  There would also be integrated learning which would be involving all the infants. In other words, simultaneous method of learning introduced for all kids. Toys and other playing gargets will be introduced to build the cognitive, emotional and motor domains of the infants. (Morin Amanda, 2012)


Furthermore, the toys will enhance the children’s cognitive development through their exploration of those toys in various points of views. The specific learning activity in this case would be drawing a house with a marker. I will begin by drawing a house on a chart, and then hang it in front of the class for every Infant to see.


Then I will instruct them to draw the trouble-free house presented in front of them. This experience will enable the Toddlers to concentrate on the drawing, as well as, enabling them to work on their sensory learning activity of visual images.  I chose this activity assuming that all the children are free from visual impairments.
