John Brown’s Holy War

The film is all about a controversial young man who is focused, determined and have a lot of ambitions. One of the greatest ideas on the film is that John holds a lot of hope on the issue of stopping the aspect of slavery. According to John a calling to stop slavery was the main idea but according to the deployed strategies all this turned to be invalid. Each and every thing that he planned never succeeded due to reasons that were even unexplainable. Instead of relaxing and putting some sort of work delegation aspect, John deployed the aspect of being the leader while others followed. This was actually good approach in respect to leadership but the main problem was on how the strategies were deployed and implemented. The main idea was about action development where he tried to be action aided but results were just the same.

Born by Owen Brown, John Brown resembled his father due to the way he started developing some characteristics such as becoming a farmer and a tanner just like the way his father was. According to the movie one can actually point out that he was so passionate in his doings. Some of the grounds according to the movie that enables an individual to point out that he was passionate are when he stressed more on the abolition aspect more than ever. One could just tell that John Brown was behaving just like his father in respect to the aspect of being determined. What can be portrayed in the movie is that his aspect of being determined was so strong that he even took grounds which he was very sure that he was not going to succeed.

One of the instances where he was so determined was on October 16, 1859 when he made plans of a raid and acted as a leader of more than 20 men. The main aim at this plan was to make a raid and move away with some ammunition and weapons from the arsenal. Their plan never got successful simply because most of the things that they wanted were never achieved. Although he was determined and had hope in all ways, his plan to make the raid action was so disappointing simply because most of his crew was killed and others were arrested by marines who got information from the farmers. His mission was so poor such that with a span of two days, the plan was renowned and the entire plan terminated causing some death cases and destructions of so many things.

Failure according to John was vocabulary but actually that was the talk of the day. Each and every thing which he tried resulted to failure which meant that he was very determined since he kept on trying so many options. Some of the men deployed to accomplish the raid system were very unsystematic and that was the reason as to why instead of following what they were required they made some explosions which called for their attention. The entire movie is all about the life of John although he was murder by the residents due to his behaviors that were less appropriate with the situation that was revolving around. One of the greatest strategies that were used although it took time to understand was deploying different criteria whenever there arise some thoughts and needs to explain some concepts.

After the initial mission failed, he developed another strategy of the abolition. This is a clear indication that he was very determined and never lost hope in whatever he did. All of the characteristics that were present to John resulted from the environment which he was brought up. The family and especially the parent’s characters played a major role in developing some characters of John such as being brave and the like. Abolitionist aspect was best revealed well at the time of antebellum. When Lawrence was removed from power, John behaved in a way that he convinced himself that he was a God chosen man and there were some tasks that were delegated to him.

That is the main reason as to why he took seven men and led in accomplishing the task that he dreams that he was delegated by God. This also proved that he was fearless and all what he was determined with was on achieving his set goals regardless of any given situation. His plans were poor simply because there was no single way he could had incorporated all his sons in the attack of which among the men who he was using seven of them died.Although John behaved in a manner that he was less tired and full of determination, the entire perseverance was quite a lesson to him. The aspect of becoming focused on areas which were never productive made him to lose a lot of things including men who were used in attacking.
