CVS Caremark Corporation and Prescription Drug Abuse

In everyday life, we make difficult decisions concerning substances that we consume. It may be food, drugs, or medicine. Each of these substances has benefits and risks that need assessment to determine the risks and benefits before consumption. The Allied Mothers against Prescription Drug Abuse (AMAPDA) believe that we can eliminate or at least lower the permanent harm to the body caused by these pharmaceutical prescription products if provided access to health information.

The risks associated with medicine and substance abuse are manageable by giving people knowledge that is necessary to make informed choices. The actions in which CVS Caremark Corporation undertook prescription refilling without the knowledge of clients and doctors constitute drug prescription abuse and violation of the law. We recommend that the government and the state of California take action against CVS for perpetrating drug prescription abuse. This message comes courtesy of Allied Mothers against Prescription Drug Abuse. For more Information visit the website at www.amapda.org and click the prescription drug abuse tab for detailed information regarding healthy decisions.
