Strategic planning at the World Bank is vital as it will aid the institution in establishing developing nations that require financial assistance. An elaborate strategic planning system will also help World Bank measure the success of its funding efforts. This will be done in relation to determining the progress of the developing nations.
The international Red Cross focuses on providing humanitarian assistance to nations that have been affected by natural and manna made calamities. Strategic planning at the international red cross is vital so as to guarantee that the body reaches and serves all humanity in need. Strategic planning will also enable the organization to plan how it shall support national societies with disaster preparedness strategies. This may require training hence funds allocation. With strategic planning, the international Red Cross can allocate training funds to different regions across the world.
