There are some areas that it has not covered, which are essential for children development. Areas like English language have been left out. This domain is essential for children who are entering schools who have another language background rather than English.  NAEYC requires that the learning foundation should provide children with the foundation that will assist in their early childhood development (NAEYC, 2002). In order to have an effective learning standard, one requires effective classroom practices, curriculum, and teaching strategies which connect with the interest of the children.
