Child Welfare Information Gateway

The most interesting part in the child welfare information gate way was the system wide part. Although other parts were interesting, I found this part interesting simply because it provided all the information on continuum. The entire information which is relevant to the child can be found in this section. Court information, places where you can get health services for a child, information regarding domestic violence and the like are found in this section. Resources that are useful for my class room work include the state specific resources and the library resources from the site for they will provide me with information which is useful. Logic model builders’ information will also be essential in my classroom practice, (U.S. department of health & human services, 2011).

Since the association deals with child abuse issues, there are law courts, violence firms and mental health services all provided by the organization? This means that advocate opportunities are quite available with the help of the firm. Other career opportunities provided by the firm include management, health care providing, and judges. The target population of the association is basically children and to some points the women.

Mainly this association is geared towards providing services to children who are neglected and those who are abused. The mission and purpose of this association is to help children from suffering. It provides measure on how children should be handled thus creating quite a good ground for fair treatment of children. In respect to my psychology of education, I strongly believe that this association fit because what it deals with is exactly what I learn. There are different ways on how child abuse and neglect can be dealt with, (U.S. department of health & human services, 2011).
