Chapter 7 Examples of “distinction and unity”
1. The plurality in God can be found in the Hebrew word Elohim meaning God which has a plural form but, the word is used alongside singular verbs. In the book of Gen 1:26, God refers to himself in plural nouns as a hint to the plurality of persons; “Lets us mane main in our image”. What amazes me most is the plurality of God being displayed among us as human beings. We are all made in the image of God, with the same nature as human beings yet, we differ. Each one of us has distinct relationship and role as female and male.

2. The unity of God without uniformity in trinity helps marriages and fellowships
The main purpose of sex and marriage is to act as a reflection of oneness in God. Based on the doctrine of trinity God is seen as being the divine essences comprising of the Holy Spirit, the Son and the Father. Marriage is a relationship between a male and female, who just like the trinity in God, can enjoy the beauty, and wonder of being two distinct individuals, with different wills and at the same time being united as one to share their essence of being human. The concept of  marriage  in trinity  of God is applicable in church  fellowship in that the members will all be covered under one umbrella I the  believe of  God even though they come from different backgrounds, race and  all walks of life.  By undertaking our oneness in Christ Jesus, and in God the almighty, we will appreciate the kind of differences in us, in terms of our culture, values, sports, music and missions.

3. Difference in trinity, modalism and tritheism
Modalism is a theological doctrine that speculates that the Spirit, the Son and the Father are three forms and modes of activities of God’s ways of manifesting himself and should not be considered as three distinct persons. Tritheism is the belief in three Gods as distinct Gods. This means that tritheism considers The Son, the Father and the Spirit as three distinct and separate Gods. Trinity means that God is defined as being of three divine the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

4.The trinity doctrine applies in our practical life. In that, many aspects apply in three forms, such as, time being seen in the future, present, and past or in matter such as water which can exist in the form of gas, liquid, and solid.

5.The concept of the trinity can be a challenging doctrine to understand. For example if Christianity was made and not revealed to man and therefore, how this doctrine can be included.  Can it just be inferred now that Christianity is based on truth despite of the difficulty in attaining the truth?

Chapter 8 who is Jesus Christ?
1. As a deity, Christ personality is viewed as being one in God. Christ has given man redemption as he acts as the mediator between man and God. He deserves our worship and praises for he came to earth to save us from the bondage of sin.
2. The bible confirms that there is only one God and one mediator who is Christ Jesus. His coming to earth and dying for our sins means that God is the only door that he who enters through him will be saved of our sins John 10:9.

3. Christ Jesus is also man and his action as a mediator between man and God and cleanses   our seen.  His human aspect is to make the satisfaction to be the perfect man and perfect God because He cannot make it unless He is God and ought not to unless He is a man.
4. Christ coming to Earth in human flesh, we get more familiar to him and gain more understanding on what God expects us to be. As he dwelt on earth, we have seen his glory and a man full of truth and grace.

5. Establishing a good relationship with God first requires me to understand both the human and divine nature of Christ. I have to understand Christ as being both man and God. This will enable me to reconcile all things on the heavens and the earth.

Chapter 9 Who is the Holy Spirit?
1.  I have not neglected  the  work of the Holy spirit  in my dwelling in Christian  faith  the personhood of  the Holy spirit  enables me to know that I have a helper who speaks to name and guides me through in all activities.

2.  We see the Holy Spirit as a God who is working. It is trough the Holy Spirit that God speaks to us. Lying to the spirit means lying to God and Son. Therefore, it is important to relate to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit equally.

3. I have seen the Holy Spirit at work. It is the work of the Holy Spirit that made me to undergo spiritual transformation and to make me start living a moral life. This salvation made me realize God presence and his love for me. I have to live a moral life and belief in God to so that I become more dependent on the work of the Holy Spirit.

4.My actions are guided by the soft far a way voice telling me on the actions based on the flesh and on the Spirit. Being guided by the Holy Spirit enables me to differentiate what is right from wrong. The Spirit warns me of indulging in the flesh and encourages me live a morally upright.

5.I believe in the work of the Holy Spirit because it guides us in all our actions. Seeing Christ in flesh makes no difference because when you believe in God, it is important to regard the work of the Holy Sprit, the Son and the Father to be the same. Seeing Christ in flesh will make many not to trust him as being God because he is human with flesh and blood like us. Thus, having the Sprit with us is preferable.
