 Trust in an organization is one of the most necessary aspects that help employees and the management develops the best work environment. The author of the article shows that creating trust is a daunting task especially in organizations where employees have more than one responsibility. Creating trust in a workplace where leaders engage in multiple responsibilities takes a lot of time. The author suggests that, in an organization with multiple tasks the best way to see all tasks accomplished in the right manner is developing trust among employees. If employees relates well in the workplace, other activities become easier to accomplish, (Lyman, 2008).


Although building trust among employees have become difficult in most organizations, evidence shows that trust gives an organization way to grow and realize its objectives. The author presents sound evidence on the long term business survival in the market as a result of building trust within employees and top management level. The article derives its evidence by comparing the 100 best companies and the worst 100 companies in the economy. Companies that create lower levels of trust develops environment that does not allow the company grow. The overall financial performance of companies that create a high level of trust significantly increases helping the company realize set goals and objectives, (Lyman, 2008).The author claims that employees in a company that provides a high level of trust always cooperate in their activities. Cooperation allows the company operates effectively making work easier unlike in a company that does not offer trust. Employees in such an environment become committed to their activities making accomplishment of activities easier. In summary, a quality and trust focused company leads to success because the employee’s feels motivated, (Lyman, 2008).
