Preschool Administrator Interview
Becoming an early childhood professional was the best decision I have ever made. I have a passion of staying with children, and it is among the reasons that drove me in this professional. Most people do not understand children, and since I realized I have skills required to handle children, I decided to enter into the early childhood professional. The need to provide quality learning outcomes made me become an early childhood professional.Dealing with children is not anybody’s work. Most people get tired in the first few hours when given some tasks to take care of kids. Understanding kids are the most valuable aspect in any setting simply because it provides the child with proper educational background.
I always learn how to handle children and interact with them most of the time. I always ensure that explanations given to the kids are comprehensible for them to understand. This has helped me manage to interact and prepare children in the best way.Indoor and outdoor activities are vital in any learning process. In creating an effective learning environment for the kids, I ensure that all equipments and materials required for their learning process are in order. Different kids have different taste, and as a result I must ensure that each kid has the desired equipments in order to accommodate his or her need. Space is of importance when handling children. The environment should always have enough space that accommodates each and every child.Early childhood education program is not anyone’s work simply because kids require attention that most people have no ability to provide.
Children require attention and someone who is ready to listen them whenever they have a problem. I have an experience of individuals who have been in childhood education and left simply because they lack patient and understanding. An educator should ensure that children’s needs are administered and responded in the best way in order to create a supportive learning environment.I ensure that parents understand that children require attention and parental guidance in order to prepare them for a better learning background. Every semester I organize for parent’s day where we develop programs that educate parents on how to handle their children. At this point, we discuss children’s strengths and weaknesses with the parents in order to find ways of helping the child.
Parents must attend meetings and help their kids on activities given as homework or assignments.Dealing with English learners at times becomes difficult but I have always managed to develop the best environment for both parents and children. I speak to them in English throughout in order to help them learn from me. Encourage them speak in English and help them on areas that they go wrong. Some of the services I offer families and children who are English learners include English programs, learning materials, and tests to check on their improvements. Most of The non English speaking parents have positively responded to these strategies which have assisted the learning process.Kids come from different backgrounds and have problems that require attention. By evaluating experience and the knowledge a child has I manage to determine if a child requires special need and respond accordingly.
