Terrorism in America

If I were to educate the American government to trust the maturity of its citizens and enroll them in the guarding against terrorist attacks I would employ a number of techniques. Firstly I would like to show them how the citizens have learned from the previous example of attacks especially the Sept 11 attack. This attack helped the citizens learn and at this level they are very keen on the war against terrorism and will not take any chances. I will mobilize the government trough the security agencies to give the citizens a chance to lend their hand in the fight. The citizens can play the part of informers to the security agents.

Internet is a common place nowadays to connect and get many people. I will use the social networking sites so as to reach as many people as possible. Showing them what the state is doing to enhance security in the state will create a good impression and their perspective will change pertaining to the war. By showing them the intensity and the risks involved they will get to know how much there are risks involved. The citizens will then be able to know how they can participate in the war. One of the easy ways to participate is by informing the concerned agencies especially the security on any suspicious individuals they spot on the land.

I would like to encourage the citizens to work hand in hand with the security organs so that they combat this crime. This will ensure that the security organs’ work is making intelligent moves on the security of nation. They will scrutinize the information given to ensure that to ascertain of any involved risks. There is increasing fear on possible attacks and they can only be managed in the best way by education, communication and preparation. Denial will not help the situation.

Families are the basic units of the society from where the others crop from; therefore it will be the best place to start the education process about the terrorism. Some members of the family could be found in school which is a teaching place by itself. There should be inclusion of some fundamentals on the terrorism in the curriculum of the schools. I will teach the schools on how to plan have an approach of hazard preparedness and emergency readiness.

The families and the communities will be told on how to engage with new people and not to accept somebody to their community blindly because through this they may end up welcoming enemies who will attack them in future. Somebody’s security is very essential and in educating the Americans we should show them how whatever they do will affect them as individuals. If everyone was to be responsible enough and act to protect themselves then the society will be very safe from attacks.

There should be drives and initiatives to educate the American citizens that their security is very essential and they should defend it by all means. In doing this the nation will remain safe and will never experience any security risks. Technology is at advanced stage and the citizens should be taught on how to make use of it for better results.

In solving any problem the best approach is by getting to know its root cause. It is from an informed point of view that one will be able to give an informed decision to problems facing them. One should evaluate what led to the occurrence of the problem and then make a decision from this perspective.
